I love finding hidden gems, it’s even better when the food is muy delicioso. Tucked away in Sandy Springs sits Tin Can Fish House & Oyster Bar. The restaurant prides itself on the oysters and if you happen to love oysters you’ll love Tin Can, as the options are endless. With the bar fixated just at the entrance and patio dining out back Tin Can is a sure place if you’re ready to have a good time.

As usual I looked over the menu before arriving. However I obviously skipped some entree’s as when I arrived at the restaurant I couldn’t make up my mind as to what I wanted to eat. That was until the Crawfish and Grits caught my eye, blackened crawfish tails drowned in a savory red sauce a top creamy cheese grits. Yes please, I slowly munched on this until my mind was made about additional items. Settling for the Catfish Po’Boy I could not wait to sink my teeth into the freshly baked baguette stuffed with lightly battered fish seasoned to perfection, with tomato, lettuce and house-made remoulade.

Nothing to see here as far as sides are concerned, I went the healthy route with a salad and veggies. Although the side options are pretty interesting and include Fried Green Tomatoes, Saffron Rice and Jalapeno Slaw to name a few. Lunch was great and actually turned into dinner as the portions were nice and filling I needed a to go container for the remainder of my food.

As always if and when you’re in the area be sure to stop in, and if they ask tell them CrushCrave sent ya! If you’re craving Mexican food sister restaurant Teela Taqueria is located right next door.
